HOW TO SLINGSHOT🛝: 1.) from 0 - 50m, run your race like normal, only difference is focus on relaxation 2.) As you cross the middle of the bend, you should feel a force pushing you toward the outside of the lane 3.) Fight that force… not from the foot, but from your center of gravity 4.) Once you complete step 3, you should feel a natural lean from your shoulders to ankles. Embrace it 5.) Hold the lean till u bend begins to straighten. As it straightens, you will straighten out from your lean. (Timing is important) It will take some getting used to but it’s definitely the method for PR’s
Mi feel mi body a crack, like it a give up on mi. From di start, mi did full of energy, mi run outta di blocks like a lion, but now… now mi a feel di weight a mi own flesh. Mi legs dem like jelly, dem stiff, mi knees dem weak. Every step mi tek, it feel like mi feet a sink inna di track. Mi try fi focus, mi head full a thoughts, but all mi can think bout is how mi chest a burn, mi lungs a fight fi air. Di wind cool pon mi face, but mi body hot, mi body hot like fire. Di crowd loud, but it feel distant, like dem a cheer from far away, mi no even know if mi can hear dem no more. Mi eyes dem lock pon di line, but mi can’t see straight, everything a blur. Mi try fi push, mi try fi dig deeper, but mi muscles dem done. Mi back a hurt, mi neck tight, mi arms a swing like dem don’t belong to mi. But mi mind… mi mind nah give up. Mi heart a pound, and di line get closer, mi arms dem swing harder, mi feet dem move slower, but mi nah stop. Inna di final second, mi dig deep, push through di pain, and mi cross di line. Mi done, mi done… but mi know mi give it all.
