Costco’s New Membership Scanning Rule! 🪪 My costco just got something new! It’s not a new product, or new samples, it’s a membership scanning rule! They’ve been implementing this slowly in select locations, and I guess it just reached my local costco. This is another preventative measure to crackdown on membership sharing that they’ve been hammering down on lately. As a costco shareholder, the crack down on membership has been pretty good to increase revenue. There hasn’t really been a decrease in sign ups or renewals since the crack down. As a costco member, this is wack. What are the families going to do if the cardholder aren’t capable of going themselves? or if they’re sick, old, or out of town? I’ve gone countless times to costco to buy food for my family when my parents (my dad has a membership) couldn’t. What do you think of this? How To Sell Your Old Airpods To Best Buy For 💵 I found this out recently, Best Buy has a trade in program where they will buy back your used electronics as long as its eligible. I saw some guy return his old airpods and one that was dying and got enough money to buy new headphones! However, just like most trade in programs, don’t expect it to be too crazy. Who’s Ready To Invest In Bobaa 🤣 I’m really not the type to talk about situations like this one my channel, but when I saw the video of what happened, I didn’t believe it was real. As an asian-american and business fanatic, Bobba is an excellent case study on what NOT to do. No matter what you think is right or wrong, there is always a court of public opinion. brand If you’re creating a product based off an already popular pre existing product, you can almost always assume there will be push back from the people who love the original product. Now mix that in with a product that is synonymous with a culture/group of people and saying things like “it’s not ethnical anymore” or “don’t quite know the content” etc is just a recipe for disaster. Especially on live TV lol. i’m no expert in international business or customs, but i feel like I could’ve guessed that this product wouldn’t fair too well when mainstream media gets wind of it. I don’t think the company bobba is done for, they already have found success and are in many retail stores. But they definitely should figure out a way to somehow comeback from this by listening to what people are saying and make the right changes in their product brand for the long term. When and How Much Are You Supposed To Tip? 🧾 The tipping culture in america has gotten pretty wild these past few years. Tipping used to be a gesture of kindness, now it’s a prerequisite to being a good moral person. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for tipping! I just don’t like how stigmatized it has gotten. Here my protocol for tipping: 0% if I have to go up to order and pick up my food 15% if im at a sit down restaurant or if there is any service involved 20% if there is all of the above + good service (or if im at a street vendor) I’m not super strict on these protocols, I rather look at them as general guidelines. Sometimes i’ll tip alot, sometimes nothing, it really depends. If you want to tip, go for it and tip away! Just don’t be mad if i hit that 0% button if we’re at mcdonalds. What do you think?
