Heartbreak is often linked to lost love, but it goes far beyond romantic relationships. It can stem from the pain of a broken friendship, the wounds of past traumas, or the bittersweet ache of a core memory that shaped us. The betrayal of a trusted friend, the distance that grows between once inseparable souls, or the realization that someone you love will never be who you needed them to be can shatter a heart just as deeply. Sometimes, heartbreak comes from within—from dreams left unfulfilled, from childhood wounds that still whisper in the quiet moments, or from the painful process of outgrowing a version of yourself. It is the grief of what was, what could have been, and what will never be again and with that healing isn't just about time it's about learning to carry what I can't erase. And some days, that feels impossible. But even on the hardest days, my heart keeps beating, and maybe that's enough for now.
