If there was a simple reason like time or shop minimum, seems like that would have been simple to say. I don’t know why anyone would opt for the response that makes your customer feel blown off bc you’re too cool to do their tattoo.
There are only three possible explanations for your husband’s behavior. I wrote a whole book on the nuances of when to stay or leave and this is one that can be very clearcut.
Early clinicians took these observations and made the erroneous conclusion that BPD is a mild form of psychosis or is some sort of pre-psychosis, snd we know today that isnt true. BPD is its own distinct condition, but the observations about individuals with BPD sometimes experiencing a break from reality is still true. Many clinicians today believe BPD is a form of CPTSD. BPD is often described as the most painful psychiatric condition. Its a form of complex PTSD that alters the way your brain interacts not only with your emotions but oftentimes with reality itself.
How often it happens isnt the only important bit. None of these categories tell you whether she is doing it because she’s struggling or has trauma or if she’s just a horrible person. In the end, *why* she does it isn’t the only or even most important factor.
